Who we are
Our team has been involved with the administration and development of rental housing inspection programs throughout Michigan since 1993. Collectively our executive team has more than 75 years experience helping local governments improve the quality of their housing stock through this systematic process.
What we do
Understanding the importance of clear communication, we focus our efforts on simplifying the inspection process to assist both the property owner and the municipality towards their mutual goals. A reduction in landlord/tenant conflicts occurs when consistent inspections are performed.
Our Philosophy
Our mission is to support the inspection process of 1 & 2 Family Dwellings by the convenience of this website for the benefit of landlords, and the city of Detroit. Our experience has shown without a doubt, that a proactive rental housing inspection program can have a substantial impact on improving the quality of neighborhoods within any community.

SELECT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TO PROCEED
UPDATED INSPECTION PROCEDURES
- One person in the home at least 18 years of age with the inspector
- A video by Google Duo or Facetime is acceptable (see Video Inspections)
- Masks, gloves, and shoe covers to be worn at all times during inspection. The additional person should as well
- All city and state mandates will be followed
- If there is an elderly or other person who has to stay in the house they should remain in one room for the entirety of the inspection
- All Rental Inspectors are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Face masks/face shields and gloves will be worn during inspections
- If requested, shoe covers will be worn during inspections of any interior spaces
